Dr. Yassin is a highly experienced hematologist with a special interest in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), thalassemia, and sickle cell disease (SCD), contributing extensively to international research in these areas. He has received numerous grants for work on Philadelphia-negative MPNs and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), collaborating with prestigious institutions like Saint Louis Hospital in France and the University of Verona in Italy. His research also focuses on cancer biomarkers, with ongoing projects in partnership with the University of Turin in Italy. Dr. Yassin leads several clinical trials in SCD and MPNs in Qatar and is keen to collaborate with scientific partners globally.
